To advance the protection of the public’s health, safety and welfare by promoting the highest professional standards within our membership and profession.

To encourage our member to work towards enhancing the surveying profession in the eyes of the public by providing the highest standards of professional services based on the unique qualifications and education of our members.

To provide an opportunity for our members to participate in ongoing continuing education.

To promote public faith, confidence and understanding of the surveying profession.

To encourage our members, through education, to work with a spirit of corporation between the public and private practices.

Establish channels of communication with other chapters, our state society, and other related organizations to exchange ideas, information on laws, education, professional practice, and other concerns that will promote professionalism and public relations.

To provide a forum for our members to learn about new methods, equipment, and other good business practices.

Encourage our members to support our governing bodies and the surveying law, and to promote active participation in the process of updating and changing  

Support and actively participate in the North Carolina Society of Surveyors, ACSM, and The National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
